Job Description

We are currently looking for an experienced and motivated Account Executive who will join one of our Central Canadian offices (Ontario).

The Account Executive is responsible for winning new business and development of current customers within the assigned branch office territory.
? Maximize sales growth through the development of new lane segments, product marketing and customer support strategies;
? Develop a clear strategy to cultivate existing customer relationships for cross-selling opportunities;
? Generate and close new business opportunities and develop a strategy for account qualifications;
? Ensure customer retention and?revenue growth, meet or exceed company sales goals and targets;
? Develop and manage assigned customers and own portfolio management;
? Create and manage a sales plan and execute that plan to success;
? Demonstrate expertise on all company product / service offerings and manage the sales of these offerings in a disciplined and direct manner;
? Sell Airfreight, Seafreight, Overland and Customs brokerage services;
? Interact with clients, schedule meetings, make presentations, and negotiate rate quotations with comfort and ease.
? Service all orders, quotes, follow-ups and customer communication;rs, quotes, follow-ups and customer communication;
? Ensure proper transitioning of customer to operations in line with the customer requirements;
? Produce a sales activity report for management on a weekly basis summarizing activities and new revenue opportunities;
? Participate in a weekly or bi-weekly sales meeting;
? Securing new business in all business fields;

? Input and timely update of sales activities utilizing CRM system;
? Actively promote Kuehne + Nagel and its values as well as global network;
? Other duties as may be assigned to you from time to time by the Company.

? Diploma/Degree in Business, Logistics or a related field preferred;
? 5+ years? experience in freight forwarding / logistics / transportation industry required;
? 3+ years field sales experience required, experience with both sales Account Management and Business Development functions preferred;
? Experience with sales Lead generation;
? Proven track record of sales in the international freight forwarding arena;
? Must be self-motivated with a winning attitude and a professional approach;
? Advanced computer skills, including full proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite required.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
